Characterful and historically important whose cellars have passages that tunnel though to Windsor Castle itself – but employees and pub locals have to pay for entry to the castle just like everyone else, as the tunnels have been long since bricked up! Do not expect a free route into the castle but do expect an eclectic range of real ales and authentic Pub Grub.
