Hardly a new establishment, Bel and the Dragon Windsor has been serving locals since the 11th Century would you believe! Inside this place is beautifully designed with a bustling atmosphere or outside there’s the Castle backdrop whilst people watching on the pedestrianised Thames street.
We took on the two course set menu – kofta kebab and haloumi salad to start, followed by the bangers and mash and cottage pie – then we were unable to resist the homemade sticky toffee pudding. As you can see from the photos, it was the sticky toffee pudding that left a big impression on us all. However all the other dishes were equally impressive. We particularly liked the home made potatoe chips which were served as a complimentary extra at the last minute. All in all, a super meal, in a cosy environment, you really cant go wrong here, two thumbs up!
