The Face of Windsor High Street seems to change every year, shops & restaurants open, some close, others replace them. It’s hard sometimes keeping track of who’s coming and going. To simplify things and keep you updated with whats happening and opening soon, we’ve created a short list of the places soon to grace the Royal town. Cote Windsor
Hard to miss on the Eton riverside, the French Chain Cote already has numerous restaurants across the UK. The Reading location is the only other branch in Berkshire. Expected to open Autumn 2013. As they say on their website “Our inspiration for the food and design comes from a modern interpretation of the many famous bistros that populate Paris”. We’ve been a fan of their steak and frites for a while now in London (The Wardour Street Location being our favourite). So for us will be a welcome addition to Windsor and Eton, and a wave goodbye to the House on the Bridge which was formerly located on the same spot.
Jungs Windsor
Opening June 2013. Will be a continental Patisserie and Cafe. According to the website Jungs will be open everyday serving breakfast, brunch, lunch afternoon tea and dinner. To celebrate the opening 50% Discounted Tasting events are being offered for those that sign up on their website. Probably worth doing, there are four or five events from Lunch Tastings to Bubbly and Bites events (which will include free drinks and nibbles from 6pm-8pm), check out their website for more information and details on registering for the free events. more details on twitter here and their website here casino en ligne france
The Chocolate Factory Windsor
Not much information available at present, we will keep you updated. Located between the Travel lodge & New Look at the King Edward Car Park side entrance to Royal Windsor Shopping. The store is currently under construction, but we’re guessing it’s going to be a pretty special Chocolatier. Stay tuned for updates on all openings, as soon as we hear any news we will update this page accordingly.
