The Wildflour Bakery is a relatively recent addition to Windsor, having opened in July 2011. This family run bakery specialise in everything from pies to traditional English desserts. Located a short walk down Peascod Street, Wildflour also offer a range of sandwiches, quiches and coffee throughout the day.

We dropped by and tried a selection of their desserts, the apple pie slice, chocolate brownie, and Apple and Blackberry Slice. Of these the Apple and Blackberry slice was our favourite, a perfectly cooked crust with a soft centre of mixed fruits – with possibly a hint of rosewater – or were we imagining that.
